California Fire officials say the blaze is expected to grow significantly over the next two days and evacuation warnings have been sent out to communities in Green Valley Lake, north of Highway 18, as well as the communities of Cedar Glen, Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, and Valley of Enchantment.

Thousands of firefighting personnel were battling early on Friday a wholly uncontained wildfire spread over some 51,000 acres in the steep mountains north of Los Angeles.
