Bronny James made his NBA G League debut Saturday night in front of a sold-out crowd at UCLA Health Training Center. His father, LeBron James, was in attendance, as well as fellow Lakers teammates Anthony Davis and D'Angelo Russell.

James made two of his nine shot attempts, missing all four of his 3-point looks. He went 1-for-1 at the free throw line.

Los Angeles Lakers rookie guard Bronny James will play in the G League for the South Bay Lakers, which is the correct decision for all involved. This is not a punishment but rather the right path for a young player who only recently turned 20 years old and did not have extensive success in the NCAA.
