Manchester United routed third-division Barnsley 7-0 in the English League Cup in the largest margin of victory under manager Erik ten Hag.

Barnsley boss Darrell Clarke pulled no punches as he condemned his players after their 7-0 loss against Manchester United which he says is down to his players being well off the mark.

The cargo tanker Lena Neft misjudged a railway bridge's clearance, causing its wheelhouse to hit the bridge deck while traveling along the Volga River in Kostroma, Russia, on September 12. Despite the collision, seven crew escaped injury, and the bridge and river traffic remained unaffected by the incident.
